Examples of Other Animals
Other animals that can be presented at fair are always small animals.
For poultry, this includes ducks, geese, turkey, peacocks, pheasants
and other small birds. There are no other animals for cats or dogs,
but the rabbit barn could have mice, rats, porcupines, or any domestic
rodent. For other animals, which include reptiles and fish, you can present
any aquarium fish, in a clean bowl. You can show turtles or snakes now,
as reptiles, as long as you could keep them in their tank and they have
food. Memphis Warwick introduced fish to the Asotin County Fair, making
them avalible to present. you must clean out the pen and refresh the water
every day, as well as feed your animal. Extracirricular animals, or "other"
animals are not shown, but rather presented.
